42Cr2Mo steel is an ultra-high strength steel. The steel has high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, and small deformation during quenching. After quenching and tempering, 42Cr2Mo alloy has a higher fatigue limit and resistance to multiple impacts. Good impact toughness at low temperature, high creep strength and enduring strength at high temperature. The steel s700mc steel density usually adopts surface quenching after quenching and tempering as the heat treatment plan.

Heat treatment advantages of s700mc steel density, SA516 Gr 70 pressure vessel steel:
